Douglass Park

Before being turned into a community center, the Douglass Park site served as a schoolhouse and surrounding grounds. Now, this neighborhood park includes a playground, shelter, and a concrete basketball court.

Amenities

Douglass Park shelter has five tables and two grills. Electric outlets and drinking fountain are available nearby. A playground and lighted basketball/pickleball court are located directly next to the shelter. A public restroom is located at the Douglass Activity Center.

Hours and Reservations

All park shelters are open during regular park hours for public use. Exclusive use is always granted to those who have obtained a reservation permit through the Parks and Recreation office. Daily reservation information is posted in the kiosk outside of each shelter for reference and a copy of your receipt will also be provided at time of payment.
