Douglass Park

Before being turned into a community center, the Douglass Park site served as a schoolhouse and surrounding grounds. Now, this neighborhood park includes a playground, nearby shelter, and a concrete basketball court.

Douglass Park shelter has five tables and two grills. There is no electricity available at this shelter. Playground and basketball facilities are located directly next to the shelter, and restrooms are accessible inside the Douglass Center Annex during business hours.

All park shelters are open during regular park hours for public use. Exclusive use is always granted to those who have obtained a reservation permit (PDF) through the Parks and Recreation office.
